BRAND & PRODUCT
MED.PCENT / 7-SKU REBRAND + 3 NEW SKUS
MARKET
KOREA · CHINA / ONE CORE · TWO ROUTES
BUSINESS PROBLEM
Products and content were already selling in China. Korea entry required more than translation: the roles, efficacy readability, price architecture, evidence and channel priority of all seven SKUs had to be reassessed.
BLD:B DIAGNOSIS
We did not design Korea and China as separate brands. Formula, ingredient, sensorial experience, package silhouette and proof became one product truth; regulation, buying language, price, content and distribution order were routed by market.
SCOPE
- Korea × China market, competitor, review and price databook
- Product-truth and market-fit audit across 7 SKUs
- KEEP · MESSAGE RESET · PACK RESET · FORMULA REDEVELOP classification
- 10-SKU role, routine and price-ladder portfolio
- Commercial, formula and sensorial briefs for 3 new SKUs
- Manufacturer bidding, samples R1–R3, cost and MOQ control
- Ingredient IP, clinical, claim and PDP evidence system
- Korea-China entry candidates and integrated 28-week WBS
MANUFACTURING
For each new SKU, allowable cost is reverse-engineered from target retail, channel fee and promotion capacity. Manufacturer comparison, provisional formula, sensorial review, up to three sample rounds and golden-sample approval are controlled in one decision log.
MARKET ENTRY
- KOREA: NAVER · D2C VALIDATION
- KOREA: OLIVE YOUNG ENTRY HYPOTHESIS
- KOREA: MUSINSA BEAUTY EXPANSION
- CHINA: KOL · KOC · MCN · TP/DISTRIBUTION REVIEW
PROOF
- 7× SKU diagnostic cards
- 10-SKU portfolio map
- Korea × China opportunity map
- Claim–Evidence Matrix
- Up to five clinical-theme briefs
- Ingredient-IP platform brief
- 10× PDP selling-point sheets
CONTENT & SALES
Korea requires efficacy, reason-to-use and proof to read in three seconds. China requires a route from content seed to search and conversion. The same product truth is expressed in each market's buying language.
RESULT & NEXT
The masterplan connects the rebrand of seven existing products, PM for three new products, shared ingredient and evidence IP, and Korea-China market-entry preparation across 28 weeks. Purchase, production, testing, media and sales outcomes remain separately scoped execution variables.
